One of the best things we did that day was pay to park super close to campus. We parked a block away and it made all the difference! Also, we stayed on the parade grounds (the big open field in front of the union). So I wasn't worried about the girls running into the street or trying to keep them close by. It was just an open field for them to play in.
Though I was a little nervous on how this was going to go down, I was pleasantly surprised! We will definitely be tailgating again, but next time I'm bringing a big blanket and a picnic lunch. Done and done.
