Remember my rant on Monday... Look at this week's email-
Toddlers live large, play hard, and love big. When they get upset, they can start acting irrationally, just like adults do. And they often use emotional outbursts to clear out the bad feelings — which may feel good to them but isn't always easy for you. Before losing your cool, remember that your child's lack of self-control is normal and that he'll eventually learn what's socially acceptable by the way you and others react to his antics. Try to respond calmly and enforce the limits you've set so things don't escalate. So it's Noooorrrrmmmmmmaaaalllllllll.
I love being the parent of a beautiful and sassy little toddler (well 98% of the time… <<i can say that>>)
The countdown continues for NOLA weekend. I'm making my list and then making another list and another, then another. and then keeping a list of all of my list.
Anthony called to give me the plan for tonight. (He always says the perfect thing) So here is his plan for the evening (in his words)... get home and play with Annie. Bike ride and play in the garden until mom gets home. Feed the Toot over a glass of wine. Then bath and bed for Toot. Salad for dinner. More wine. Then pack for NOLA and watch Modern Family. Finish crafts, preview slideshow, drink more wine. Dance to Michael Buble. And finish with a skinny cow in bed.
Wow... He made my night sound delightful. Can't wait to get home!!
i love anthony.
