coffee break

I'm so tired this morning. Like almost fell asleep driving into work tired. I woke up in the middle of the night with a sore throat and swigged some cough syrup straight from the bottle. I'm pretty sure that is what did me in. Please let me find some energy so I'm not dragging all day long. Also, I'm so OVER Houston talk radio. SO OVER IT. I don't want to hear about an intern putting their hands into the "mystery box", Roula. But I still think you are cute because your husband reminds me of a mix between Anthony and Josh and yall just had a baby. Ok ok ok.
What I do really enjoy is listening to books on my commute. I need to get to the library asap and check some out. Peaceful commutes will soon reign king in my car.
I need a monster energy drink just to finish typing this blog. Good grief.

So another weekend gone. I'm continuing to uphold my resolution of a real good feel good summer life...
Jess, Liv and Laine came to play on Saturday. It was such a great time. By the end of the visit the twins were hugging on me like I was their second mother. Which completely made my weekend!! Like finally I'm in the club. I'm so in love with all of the little girls in my life. Who doesn't feel on top of the world with three sweet little girls giggling at you?

Anywho. Remember my last post about Annie not fussing all weekend? Well I sure did jinx that one. I get home Friday night to find a crying baby with a new tooth coming in. Damn TEETHING!!! It will be the death of me. Teething and gas.. the root of all baby tears. Hahaha it’s justification we tell ourselves so we don't feel like failures as parents. Well anyway, Annie is teething... that's my story.

I'm starting to wake up now. OK, Let's have a happy, healthy week! Lots of fresh foods and some exercise. Some Sookie Stackhouse, some cleaning (since we have fired the maid.. Eek!), some gratitude for my great husband, and an 18 month check-up for my Annie Bananie. Holy hell 18 months? When did that happen?!?!?!?
